Fact File

...you can bet that Ted Forrest will be there to make a wager on it.

Ted is well known as a competitive, high-stakes gambler. He was a key part of "The Corporation", a group of poker players who pooled their money together to play against Texas billionaire Andy Beal in the richest poker game on the planet. The game was so expensive that it cost $200,000 just to stay in a hand - and that’s before even making a bet.

Ted has also been known to take on some crazy "proposition bets", wagering $10,000 that an All-American Track & Field runner couldn’t run from L.A. to Las Vegas (270 miles) while only sleeping twice.

Ted’s healthy disregard for money, backed up with a solid understanding of poker, makes him a formidable poker player. Ted has had five first-place finishes in the biggest poker event on the planet, the World Series of Poker. In March 2006, Ted also won the annual National Heads-Up Poker Championship, defeating poker superstars such as Sean Sheikhan, Sam Farha, Chris Ferguson, and Erik Seidel to win the first prize of $500,000. As of 2006, Ted’s total live tournament winnings exceed $3.8 million dollars.

Ted’s poker success has brought him success that most of us can only dream of. For Ted Forrest, money really does grow on trees.
